River Cabin

A detached cabin set on the banks of the river.

Ground floor (approx. 15 m²)

• Kitchenette with sink, small refrigerator, electric kettle, hotplate and tableware for eight guests.
• Saucepan, frying pan and a selection of basic cooking utensils.
• Small sofa.
• Dining table with chairs.
• Coat rack and mirror.
• Several windows overlooking the river and surrounding grounds.
• Blackout roller blinds.

A steep ladder staircase leads to the upper floor.

Upper floor (approx. 21 m²)

(The usable space is reduced by the sloping ceiling.)

• Double bed.
• Two small windows, one at each end of the room.
• Blackout roller blinds.

Due to the steep ladder staircase, the upper floor is not recommended for small children.

Veranda and sauna

• Covered veranda with outdoor table and chairs.
• Separate entrance from the veranda to the sauna.
• Sauna (approx. 3.5 m²) with electric heater, window and shower.
• The changing area is fitted with a blackout roller blind.

Additional information

• Traditional composting outdoor toilet located close to the cottage.
• A rowing boat on the river in front of the cottage is available exclusively for guests throughout their stay.
• Natural ventilation and electric heating.
• Pets are welcome. Pet fee €35 per stay.
• Breakfast buffet in the restaurant is included.

Accessibility

River Cottage is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

The path to the cottage follows a slope down towards the river and includes natural paths and stone steps. The surrounding grounds have been left in their natural state.

Complimentary parking is available near Small Cottage and Shingle House. In dry weather, it is also possible to drive down the narrow access road closer to the cottage.
