The customer agrees to comply with these terms when purchasing products and services from the seller Oy Svartå Gård Ab/Mustion Linna. These terms apply to rented, purchasable and bookable products and services.
Reservation and order terms
The customer is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the service description and instructions as well as the terms related to the reservation.
The customer's reservation or order is binding once the order, reservation or payment confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the customer.
The customer will pay the reservation according to the chosen payment method, following the payment method’s terms.
An order confirmation/reservation confirmation/payment confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer.
Oy Svartå Gård Ab/Mustio Manor is not responsible for failed reservations made by the customer in the online store and the customer must promptly contact Mustio Manor to correct the situation. Mustio Manor does not guarantee that the service is still available in such cases. If the service is unavailable, alternative services or dates will be offered when possible. If a reservation cannot be transferred and no other services are available, any advance payment made to Oy Svartå Gård Ab will be refunded.
A binding contract comes into effect once the order is confirmed (order confirmation/reservation confirmation/payment confirmation).
CANCELLATION TERMS
Cancellation and returns
Products have a 14-day return right according to the consumer protection.
The return right applies only if the product is in its original condition.
Any product packaging must also be in a sellable condition.
Please contact sales for detailed return instructions. The return right does not apply to engraved or other personalized products, accommodation services, restaurant services, or other pre-arranged leisure services for a specific date.
Gift cards cannot be returned.
Cancellations and changes
The cancellation date is the day when Oy Svartå Gård Ab/Mustion Linna receives notification of the cancellation.
Cancellations must always be confirmed in writing.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the cancellation is sent on time.
General cancellation terms
If the entire reservation or part of the reservation is canceled:
- More than 30 days before the reservation, no cancellation fee is charged.
- 21-29 days before the reservation, a 25% fee of the canceled products or pre-ordered services applies.
- 14-20 days before the reservation, a 50% fee of the canceled products or pre-ordered services applies.
- 0-13 days before the reservation, a 100% fee of the canceled products or pre-ordered services applies.
For private events the following delivery and cancellation terms apply:
- A reservation fee of 800 € is charged when confirming the reservation. This fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation but will be deducted from the final invoice.
- If the customer cancels the reservation or part of it:
- More than 4 months before the event, no cancellation fee is charged.
- 2-4 months before the event, 50% of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
- 1-2 months before the event, 75% of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
- 0-1 months before the event, 100% of the canceled products or pre-ordered services will be charged.
- For discounted items the full product price is always charged, regardless of the cancellation time.
- An individual hotel room for one night or a table reservation for up to 2 people (or a combination) can be canceled free of charge until 18:00 on the day of arrival, but at least 2 hours before the reservation time.
- On event days, cancellations for table reservations must be made in writing 48 hours before the reservation time unless stated otherwise in the reservation confirmation. All non-cancelled reservations will be charged. The cancellation fee for events is the price stated in the event, with a minimum charge of €39 per person.
- Exceptions to the cancellation terms can be agreed upon separately in writing between the customer and Mustio Manor's sales service. These special agreements must always be made in writing via email and be recorded in the reservation confirmation or order terms sent by Mustio Manor's sales service. In case of force majeure, the customer may cancel the rental or service agreement without charge by submitting a written explanation of the occurrence.
Owner’s right to cancel a reservation
In case of force majeure, Oy Svartå Gård Ab/Mustion Linna has the right to cancel the rental or service agreement. The customer will be notified of the cancellation without delay. The customer will be entitled to a full refund of any rental fee paid.
Any costs the customer incurs due to the force majeure cancellation of the rental agreement will not be compensated.
DELIVERY TERMS
Use of the Property
- The customer has the right to use the property and its furnishings and specifically defined services during the rental period.
- If the renter notices any deficiencies or issues with the property, they must inform the reservation management immediately.
- The customer is responsible for any damage or loss of property and equipment during their visit.
- If extra cleaning is required beyond normal cleaning because of the customer, Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Mustio Manor) will charge for the extra cleaning costs, starting at 50 €.
- Smoking indoors in any building on the property is strictly prohibited. A penalty fee of 250 € will be charged for non-compliance.
- The property is available for the customer’s use during the time defined in the reservation confirmation.
Pets at Mustio Manor
- The renter is fully responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
- Pets are allowed in the specifically designated pet-friendly hotel rooms at Mustion Linna for an additional fee of 20 €.
- Pets must always be reported in advance. A fee of 50 € will be charged for pets staying without prior notification.
- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times within the manor premises.
Special terms for vehicles
- Designated parking areas are available for vehicles.
- Vehicles may be driven to the hotel entrance during check-in and must then be moved to the designated parking areas.
- The speed limit within the park is 30 km/h.
- Vehicles must never be left unattended in front of the manor museum, loading dock, or summer theater, nor on emergency routes.
- Exceptions for vehicles and parking must be agreed with Mustion Manor's reception.
- Failure to comply with these rules will result in the removal of the vehicle from the park at the vehicle owner's expense and a 200 € penalty for the rule violation.
- Customers with a disability are allowed to use their vehicles on the manor property. Our staff will assist and help with the parking in such a case.
- The charging of electric vehicles is available for a fee. Always notify our reception in advance: info@mustionlinna.fi.
Special terms for rented rooms and facilities
- The customer uses the space, its furnishings and equipment at their own risk.
- The space must be used carefully and only for its intended purpose.
- Furniture or equipment must not be taken outside the space or out of the country, nor rented out further.
- The customer must return the space at the agreed time and in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental period. Normal cleaning is included in the rental.
- If the return is delayed, the customer must inform the property owner immediately. The owner has the right to charge for any additional rental time.
- The customer is liable for any damage to furniture or equipment caused by improper handling during the rental period.
- The customer is responsible for following transportation, safety and other regulations.
- The customer must immediately report any damages to the property or equipment to the property owner.
Keys
- The keys to the accommodation or other rented spaces will be provided during check-in or in exceptional cases, in advance, as agreed between the customer and the sales service.
- Meeting or event space keys will be handed to the designated contact person at the reception against signature.
- Keys must not be handed to outsiders.
- The customer must return the keys as instructed. The default is that the key is returned to the reception at the end of the reservation period.
- If a key is lost or not returned, the owner has the right to charge for the cost of re-keying or changing locks.
- Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Mustio Manor) is entitled to charge at least 150 € for re-keying or lock changes if the key is lost or not returned during reception's business hours.
Compensation for damages
- The customer is responsible for compensating Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Mustio Manor) for any damage caused to the property.
- The person making the reservation is also responsible for any damage caused by other visitors to the property during the reservation period.
Complaints
- Any complaints must be made as soon as the issue arises.
- If a satisfactory resolution is not reached or if the complaint includes a compensation claim, the complaint must be sent in writing within two weeks after the rental period ends.
- Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Mustio Manor) will address the complaint as soon as possible, but no later than within a month.
- If the customer and Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Mustio Manor) cannot reach an agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board.
Payment Terms
- Delivery charges include postage and packaging fees. Delivery charges can be viewed in the online store after selecting the payment and delivery method.
- Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Mustio Manor) uses trusted and secure payment providers.
- Oy Svartå Gård Ab (Mustio Manor) does not store credit card information at any time.
- Banking and payment details are stored in Procountor accounting software and Hotelinx reservation system, which are password-protected.
- The customer agrees to comply with the terms of their chosen payment method.
General Terms
The prices displayed in the online service include VAT.
- We apply dynamic pricing in accommodation properties. Prices depend on the time of booking and vary monthly, weekly, and daily.
- We sell products to adult individuals and corporate clients.
- We reserve the right to change prices.
- The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
- Oy Svartå Gård Ab/Mustio Manor has the right to use and share registered address information for direct marketing, remote sales, and other promotional purposes, as well as for market and opinion research unless the customer objects.
- The customer can object to this use via the contact details mentioned in the terms.
